WORKSHOP Personal Assistant 101 (The Prerequisite)

Nearly 15 years ago, aside from knowing I wanted to be a personal assistant, I did not know anyone who had been a PA, I knew not a “day-in-the-life-of” a PA, and I had no idea where to turn for more info.  Luckily, I stumbled upon a workshop that a woman was running in L.A. at the time; it was for people who wanted to become a celebrity personal assistant.  That I did!  And that I did become.

 This workshop is not your ticket to a job as a personal assistant; you will have some work to do on your end.   But it will give you an overview of the profession, answer questions you have, provide some advice on how to make yourself an attractive candidate for the role, and allow you to network with someone who works with clients who hire PAs.  Walk away with something you can add to the “education/training” section of your resume that night!  (I will tell you, when I did just that following the workshop I took in L.A., it became the single most extracted and discussed aspect of my resume during job interviews!)
